Bio

George hails from the US and grew up in Maryland. He attended college in Baltimore before pursuing graduate studies in Chicago.  After completing his PhD, he came to Germany for a postdoctoral experience and was an AvH Postdoctoral Fellow.  In 2019, he first started his independent research group as a Max Planck Research Group Leader at the MPI for Chemical Energy Conversion.  George joined LMU in February 2025.
